FAQ RemoBell Cloud Subscription Plan

When we drew up the RemoBell Cloud Plan we wanted something different. A plan that was cheap, convenient, and simple to use. A plan that will give you the most bang for your buck, but also not overly complicated. Since the RemoBell Cloud Plan will start March 1st, we stuck with a one fee for one plan model: Unlimited videos per day for $3/ 30-day.

 

Here are some frequently asked questions:

 

Can I browse my Cloud videos on the RemoBell website?
No, the videos stored on your Cloud can only be played on the RemoBell app on your smartphone.

 

 

How many videos will the cloud store?
You can store unlimited videos per day for 30 day storage

 

 

How long does the cloud record for?
Each video will be one minute long, whether it is a ring or motion video.

 

 

Is a Cloud plan for all my cameras or is it per camera?
Each plan is per camera. You will need to purchase Cloud plan for each of your cameras.

 

 

What videos are stored in the Cloud?
All videos will be stored in the Cloud if you have your settings set up to record to the Cloud. That means answered motion videos, missed motion videos, answered rings, and missed rings.

 

 

How do I pay for my Cloud plan?
You can purchase your cloud subscription on our website. Just go to remocam.com from a web browser→ login to your RemoBell account→ click “Your Account” at the top right → Select “My RemoBell” → select your plan then proceed to checkout.

 

 

What happens when my 30-day free trial ends?
You will not be able to see your cloud videos on your RemoBell Recent Activity. You will only be able to see a call log of your motion and rings.

 

 

How do I save videos?
Videos from rings will automatically be recorded when you have a Cloud plan. To save motion videos you’ll need to turn on the Motion Sensor and turn on Cloud recordings.

 

 

Is there a fee for canceling?
Nope! We do not charge any cancellation fees.

 

 

Can I get a refund?
We do not offer full or prorated refunds for canceled Cloud plans.

What comes with the Cloud Plan?

Save your Recordings

With the Cloud Plan, you can now store and save your recordings. When you turn on your motion detector, your RemoCam captures footage of any activity that it detects. The Cloud will store those memories so that you can access them on our RemoCam app at your convenience.

View on your Phone

You can watch your captured videos on your app or save them onto your phone. Have you ever wanted to watch how your dog chewed up the sofa? Now, record and watch your footage straight from the cloud.

The Cloud Plan

RemoCam’s mission has always been to create a more intelligent home for our users and making sure our loved ones are safe. Up until October 3rd, RemoCam has been offering their Cloud service for free, but for only 3 GB of memory. Now you have can upgrade your plan and save more footage for a longer period of time on your cloud. Since Cloud recording is essential for home monitoring, we made sure that our subscription plan is the most accessible and affordable plan in the market.

There are three different plans that you can sign up for — Jog, Sprint, and Marathon. Each plan will give you a different amount of memory storage size and memory storage time frame. You can also sign up for a monthly subscription plan or an annual subscription plan all depending on what fits you  best. If you ever feel like canceling your current plan or changing it, you have the option to do that at any time.
In order to show you the benefits of the Cloud plan, users who buy a new RemoCam will get a 30-day free trial. If the Cloud plan is not for you, you also have the option to store your memory on a 32gb SD card.
Until October 3rd, RemoCam’s Cloud storage will be at no cost. Afterward, users will be able to choose the Jog plan, Sprint plan, Marathon plan, or store their videos on a 32gb SD card. Whatever option you decide to choose– Happy Monitoring!

FAQ RemoCam Cloud Subscription Plan

One of the perks of having a RemoCam is the Cloud Subscription plan. When you turn on your motion detector, your RemoCam captures footages of any activity that it senses. The Cloud stores those videos so that you can access them on our RemoCam app. RemoCam’s Cloud plan is also the most accessible and  affordable plan on the market.

 

You may have some questions regarding the Cloud Subscription, so here are some common Q&As:

1. What are some Cloud  plan options?
You can find details on the Cloud subscription plan page.
2. Can I browse my Cloud videos on the RemoCam website?
No, the videos stored on your Cloud can only be played on the RemoCam app on your smartphone.
3. How many videos is 3GB?
About 1,000 videos can be stored with 3GB storage size. However, any videos past 3 days will be automatically deleted even if you have less than 3GB of videos.
4. Can I record 24/7?
No. We do not offer continuous recordings; however, RemoCam will record 20-second motion videos each time it detects motion. So if there’s 1 minute of motion (60 seconds) then you will have 3 20-second videos in your Cloud.
5. Is a Cloud plan for all my cameras or is it per camera?
Each plan is per camera. You will need to purchase Cloud plan for each of your cameras.
6. What videos are stored in the Cloud?
Only motion sensor videos are stored in the Cloud.
7. Can I store on the Cloud and SD card?
No, you can store on either the Cloud or the SD card.
8. How do I pay for my Cloud plan?
You can subscribe and pay on our website. You will be able to start purchasing on Sept 15th, 2016. Payments can be made monthly or yearly, all payments are autopayments. This means that if you sign up for a monthly plan, you’ll automatically be charged each month.
9. What happens when my 30-day free trial ends?
All your videos will be automatically deleted. You will need to purchase a Cloud plan in order to save the videos.
