Congratulations! You are an individual who surely cares about reliable home security- the
RemoBell is the most dependable security doorbell that you can find, but you didn’t need me to
know that. You’re probably using it right now – checking when your packages arrive, talking to
with your guests, or seeing if someone is trying to play games with your home.Well, I hope you’re
enjoying your RemoBell.
Hopefully, you felt more at peace with your doorbell installed. However, the reason you came to
this article wasn’t to learn about how you’re enjoying the heck out of your doorbell right? It was to
find those little tips that will enhance your RemoBell experience. Well, here are 4 things you need
to know that will take you from a RemoBell user to a RemoBell connoisseur
1.Recharge your batteries.
When you received your RemoBell, it came with 6AA rechargeable batteries. If you haven’t already,
you need to buy 6 more AA batteries and a battery charger. This way, you can switch between the
two sets of battery, and, basically, never worry about charging your device. Other battery operated
surveillance system are gonna make you wait days for it to fully charge. You want to know what
that is — time your home is not protected. Protect your home at all time.
We recommend the EBL AA Battery Charger
2.Adjust your motion setting
With every home, the environment is always different. If you live in the city, there’s always cars and
pedestrians passing by. If you live in the suburbs, it’s more calmer and less movement around the
area. Depending on where you live, you probably want to change motion settings accordingly.
Don’t be flanked with notifications on your phone; just, adjust your motion so you get the calls that

3.Don’t drill… tape it
The beauty that comes with the RemoBell is that you can place the doorbell wherever you want.
Because it is battery powered, there are no limitations to where you could mount it. However, a
stumbling block could be that you cannot drill a certain part of your home, like the door or your
garage. There are adhesive mounting tape that works like a charm, and trust me – it’s strong. You
can place the tape on the back of your bracket then take the safety strip off the tape to attach it to
your wall. Whether it’s the garage, your backyard, or your gate, be flexible on where you mount the

4.Extend your WiFi range
Every Wi-Fi enabled device has an issue when they are too far from the router. Whether it is your
laptop or your phone, if it’s too far from the Wi-Fi, you won’t get a stable connection. The RemoBell
reacts the same way. However, you can improve your Wi-Fi by getting an
extender. A Wi-Fi extender is a plug in antenna that boosts the range of your network connection;
so, if you place the DoorBell by the gate of fence, it will cover further lengths of your home.

Fall is a beautiful time in the year where the weather starts to get colder, the leaves start to change color, the days get a little darker, and you can finally bring out your favorite seasonal scarves. However, Fall can be a very dangerous time for household break-ins, as it is one of the seasons when a burglary would most likely occur. Here are some tips that you can use to make sure that your family does not become a victim of a burglary during the Fall.
1. Less daylight, so keep your home lit
The time frame when burglaries occur the most is from 10am to 3pm, when most of us are at work or at school. With the daylight shortening, your home will be less illuminated when you’re still working your 9 to 5; therefore, try to light up your house as much as possible during the afternoon. Install some motion sensing exterior lights or buy a home security camera that could turn on your indoor lights using its home automation feature so you don’t have to be at home to flip the switch. Don’t give the burglars the opportunity to roam around your neighborhood in the dark.
2. Keep your yard clean
During this time of the year, your yards are probably filled with leaves, dead branches, rakes, and compost bins that are overflowing. It can be a pain keeping up with your Fall cleaning; however, a dirty yard is like luring a burglar to your home. When a burglar sees a house that is not groomed, some of them will assume that the house has been vacant because of a family vacation. Some burglars may target a house with a dirty yard because there are more places to hide and it is less noticeable on the street. Make sure you are grooming your yard; you don’t want them to take advantage of a messy yard.
3. Less people outside, so install an outdoor monitoring system
In the Summer, you will probably see more people walking their dogs, cutting their grass, or washing their cars. However, with the weather getting colder and the days getting shorter, fewer people will be inclined to go outside. Usually, wandering eyes were a deterrent for burglars, but with fewer people outside, you will want to install some type of outdoor monitoring system. Get an outdoor security camera or wireless video doorbell; just make sure that you have a second pair of eyes in your front yard.
4. Watch what you post on Social Media
One of the great joys of social media is that we can tell the world what we are doing at any moment. However, over publicizing what we do can be very dangerous, as we do not know who could be reading them. Remember not to post that you are out of the house or how long you will be gone for, especially with Halloween and Thanksgiving coming around. A burglar could follow your updates and potentially target your home next.

When we designed our home video security camera, we recognized that one of the most important tools to ensure home security was installing a mechanism that will notify users of any break-in or suspicious activity. Therefore, RemoCam integrated a motion sensor and push notification system to alert users of any unwanted activities in their homes. RemoCam has also added additional features to the motion detector so that users will have more control over their sensor.
When you turn on your RemoCam’s motion sensor, a push notification will also turn on. You will receive notifications from your phone only when your home video security camera detects movement.
RemoCam checks for any movement that is visible to the human eye with the range of up to 100ft. The sensitivity of the motion detector can be adjusted from high to low, according to your preference. Maybe you have a dog in your home who may buzz your push notification a little too often.
RemoCam’s motion detector can also select certain areas you want it to detect in its field of view. Let say you want the RemoCam to only monitor the front door or the porch in your backyard; the option to choose the area you want your motion detector to be active is another feature of RemoCam.
Local and Cloud Storage
You can also turn on your “save to cloud” feature to record up to 20 seconds of any motion detected. If you do not want to sign up for the cloud plan, you also have the alternative storage option to store your video recordings to a 32gb micro SD card.
The various features in the RemoCam’s motion detector will give users control over how they want to optimize their sensor.

Here are 6 reasons why you will love Remy:
Remy is free spirited and loves to explore. He hopes to go to Germany and Vegas one day!
He can a little get nosey though. (He’s always watching you while you work)
Remy’s favorite color is green
His favorite food is skittles. (who doesn’t love Skittles)
Although he is a smart security camera, he has a very low attention span.
But at the end of the day, he is our favorite little office buddy!
