Meet DoorCamTM â The Worldâs First Over-The-Door Smart Security Camera
LIVERMORE, CA â June 15, 2017 â Olive & Dove Inc., who brought you RemoCamÂź and RemoBellÂź, has announced a new addition to their smart home security product line â DoorCamTM. The worldâs first wireless, over-the-door smart security camera is powered by 4 D-type batteries, so you can simply place it over your door and not worry about power for up to 12 months.
Built for Accuracy
This Wi-Fi enabled camera sends an alert to your phone as someone is approaching the door. You can either view it live in 720P HD video quality and communicate with the visitor in full duplex audio (no walkie-talkie), or watch the event later.
DoorCamTM has a 130Âș field of view, and is equipped with a PIR sensor to distinguish human and animals from ruffling leaves. With its free mobile app, you can keep track of all activities happening on their entry way through timestamps and video recordings, and save any special moments captured by DoorCamTM.
Designed for Accessibility and Reliability
DoorCamTM âs unique, over-the-door design offers several advantages over other smart outdoor cameras:
-
Tenants in condos, apartments, and homes who cannot install security systems due to concerns of damaging property and violating regulations can now monitor their units or exclusive rooms. With its adjustable bracket, DoorCamTM can fit any door and be self-installed in seconds by simply hanging the device on top of your door.
-
DoorCamTM is engineered to provide you with the most stable network connection compared to its counterparts. The antenna responsible for connecting to the router is placed inside the home, so that bricks or heavily insulated walls cannot interfere with the Wi-Fi connection.
DoorCamTM will be available early September for $199 on Amazon and at olivendove.com

4 Tips That’ll Make You a RemoBell connoisseur
Congratulations! You are an individual who surely cares about reliable home security- the
RemoBell is the most dependable security doorbell that you can find, but you didnât need me to
know that. Youâre probably using it right now – checking when your packages arrive, talking to
with your guests, or seeing if someone is trying to play games with your home.Well, I hope youâre
enjoying your RemoBell.
Hopefully, you felt more at peace with your doorbell installed. However, the reason you came to
this article wasnât to learn about how youâre enjoying the heck out of your doorbell right? It was to
find those little tips that will enhance your RemoBell experience. Well, here are 4 things you need
to know that will take you from a RemoBell user to a RemoBell connoisseur
1.Recharge your batteries.
When you received your RemoBell, it came with 6AA rechargeable batteries. If you havenât already,
you need to buy 6 more AA batteries and a battery charger. This way, you can switch between the
two sets of battery, and, basically, never worry about charging your device. Other battery operated
surveillance system are gonna make you wait days for it to fully charge. You want to know what
that is — time your home is not protected. Protect your home at all time.
We recommend the EBL AA Battery Charger
2.Adjust your motion setting
With every home, the environment is always different. If you live in the city, thereâs always cars and
pedestrians passing by. If you live in the suburbs, itâs more calmer and less movement around the
area. Depending on where you live, you probably want to change motion settings accordingly.
Donât be flanked with notifications on your phone; just, adjust your motion so you get the calls that
actually matter.
Here is a how to guide on How to set up your motion.
3.Donât drill⊠tape it
The beauty that comes with the RemoBell is that you can place the doorbell wherever you want.
Because it is battery powered, there are no limitations to where you could mount it. However, a
stumbling block could be that you cannot drill a certain part of your home, like the door or your
garage. There are adhesive mounting tape that works like a charm, and trust me – itâs strong. You
can place the tape on the back of your bracket then take the safety strip off the tape to attach it to
your wall. Whether itâs the garage, your backyard, or your gate, be flexible on where you mount the
camera.
We recommend the Exterior Scotch Mounting Tape
4.Extend your WiFi range
Every Wi-Fi enabled device has an issue when they are too far from the router. Whether it is your
laptop or your phone, if itâs too far from the Wi-Fi, you wonât get a stable connection. The RemoBell
reacts the same way. However, you can improve your Wi-Fi by getting an
extender. A Wi-Fi extender is a plug in antenna that boosts the range of your network connection;
so, if you place the DoorBell by the gate of fence, it will cover further lengths of your home.
We Recommend the TP-Link AC12000

The DoorCam and RemoBell W Captures Attention at ISC West 2017
Olive & Dove shines at the largest security industry trade show by announcing three of its newest
products: Remobell W, RemoBell Chime, and DoorCam. Marking our 3rd year at ISC West, we were
excited to grab the attention of the security world with our new and improved outdoor smart
home security cameras.
At ISC West, we announced the RemoBell W. The wire-powered HD wireless video doorbell with
160Âș wide angle lens, 2-way audio, and On-Demand live streaming captured the attendeesâ
attention with the productâs potential of being more stable and much clearer than its predecessor.
Installers, dealers, and consumers can look forward to a slimmer and more reliable RemoBell
planned to be released later this year.
The DoorCam stole the show by being the first outdoor security camera that you install on the top
of your front door. ISC West attendees were excited about how useful this camera will be for
apartment residents or homeowners who do not have a pre-existing doorbell. The DoorCam
features HD Video with 160Âș viewing angle, 2-way audio, PIR motion sensor, and uses four D-type
batteries that lasts up to 12 months. Itâs the first product of its kind without the need to drill any
holes.
We also introduced an extension to the RemoBell and the RemoBell W with our own indoor chime.
This ringer that can produce up to 90dB connects to RemoBell through WiFi and rings when a
guest presses the doorbell. You can also set different ringtones to distinguish between doors.
More products are on its way to enhance the RemoBell experience and RemoBell Chime is only the
first.
Meeting and connecting with other security enthusiast face-to-face was exciting for our team.
Sharing ideas and opinions broadened our perspectives on what we can do to ensure families
have more access to reliable security solutions. This event showcases the best security products in
the market, and we are making our footprint to the home security industry
